It is made of triple heat
treated blended high carbon steel and features an exclusive dual shear plate locking mechanism.
Dual cross bolt lock mechanism withstands in excess of 6.5 tons of pull force and shackle can withstand over 8000 lbs. of expansion force.
The lock mechanism is placed in the center of the hardened chrome molly crossbar for maximum strength and features a 7 pin tubular pick and drill resistant steel lock cylinder.
The hardened chrome molly lock body is protected by a ballistic grade polymer housing to resist hammer strikes and prevent scratching of painted surfaces.
U-Shackle also has a protective PVC skin.
