Q: If a rider forgets to remove the coiled wire when getting off the motorcycle, will the airbag accidentally activate and inflate?
A: A force of up to 30 kg. (66 lbs.) is required to detach the key and to activate the airbag. The dismounting rider will feel a strong tug well before deployment. In fact a small motorcycle or scooter may topple over if the rider forgets to release the coiled wire before dismounting.

Q: When a "Hit Air" is not in use could the free end of the coiled wire mar the finish of the motorcycle?
A: No, simply keep it under the seat or use a connector holder (sold separately).

A: Yes, EU model is 100% waterproof. Other models are made of water-repellent fabric.

Q: How long will gas cartridge last?
A: Indefinitely, but it should be replaced if the surface shows any signs of deterioration or rust. (Of course, activated cartridges must be replaced.)

Q: Can I wash my jacket?
A: Yes, simply remove the airbag system, linings and protectors and wash according to the washing instructions. No need to dry clean. In fact excess heat from the dry cleaning process may cause damage.

Q: Can I wear a light backpack or something similar overtop a "Hit Air"?
A: Yes, just be careful that its straps do not press against the airbag interfering with its ability to inflate freely.
