Browsing the Merchandise
The homepage of Bikebone.com lists the various categories that you can select products from. Clicking on a selection will take you to another page that will list all the products under the selected category. The product page allows to you view the different specifications of each product and place the product in your Basket. You can view the contents of your shopping cart basket at anytime by clicking the link at the bottom of the page that says "Basket Contents".

The Shopping Cart
The shopping cart keeps track of all the products that you would like to purchase. You can remove the items from your cart by clicking the "Remove" button after linked in "Basket Contents", the message "Your shopping basket is currently empty" will appear.
The handy Mini Cart
Once you ad a product to the basket, the Mini Cart on the rigth side of the screen will show you what products do you have in your basket, and also you will be able to calculate right there the shipping costs only inputing your zip code. It also contents a "Checkout" direct link.
Checking Out
To purchase the products in your shopping cart click the "Checkout" button on the shopping cart page. The next screen will ask you your Name, and Address. After that, you will select the shipping method (the price will appear in the screen for each option). If applicable, redeem your Coupons inputing the codes in the text box and clicking on "Redeem". Your screen will refresh automatically showing the discounts.
Returning customers
Customers that have shopped at Bikebone.com before and have a username and password can login to gain access to their previously saved Billing and Shipping information. The built in profile manager allows you to manage several different sets of billing and shipping information.
New customer
Customers that are shopping at Bikebone.com for the first time and would like an online account should choose this option. Once an account is built you may use the returning customer feature for your other purchases at Bikebone.com . Please note that the only way to take advantage of the built in profile manager is by having a registered account with us.
Customers who do not want to create an online account may choose the option "without account". Once a purchase is completed using this option the billing and shipping information is removed from our eCommerce system. Information vital to processing the order is kept however. Upon returning to Bikebone.com to purchase additional products all billing and shipping information will need to be re-entered to complete the order until a registered account is created. This option is perfect for individuals who do not want to manager another username and password.
Return Policy - Privacy Policy
Please inspect your shipment immediately upon arrival. Verify that your order was received and in undamaged condition. Check the container thoroughly to avoid throwing away parts that may be wrapped in packing materials. No invoices are sent in the package as your order may arrive in several different packages. Bikebone.com must be notified within 48 hours of delivery of any missing parts!
If any part of your order is missing please contact our customer service department at info@bikebone.com . Addressing all customer service issues via e-mail allows us to track issues more effectively and provides a log of all correspondence.
Damaged Merchandise - If the merchandise you ordered was damaged in shipping, you must contact your local UPS office within 48 hours of delivery to file a damage claim for replacement. Once claims are finalized with the shipper, only then will Bikebone.com order and send out the replacement parts.
Returns - Bikebone.com has a return policy of 15 days from the date of delivery as shown on the UPS tracking system. We understand that sometimes the items purchased do not entirely fit your needs. With that in mind, we offer a full refund on orders returned to Bikebone.com within 15 days with these restrictions:
Bikebone.com cannot not be held responsible for items ordered in error by the customer and reserves the right to pass any restocking fees charged by the manufacturers / distributors on to the customer up to 40% of the suggested retail price. All items must be returned in their original packaging and in unused condition.
Bikebone.com must RECEIVE returned items within 15 days of the original delivery date as shown on the UPS tracking system. After 15 days all sales are considered final and no returns will be accepted.
If the customer keeps any portion of an order, the original shipping charges will not be refunded.
All returns must be marked with a Return Authorization Number (RAN), which can be obtained by writing to info@bikebone.com , and shipped freight pre-paid to the address provided with the RAN.
Shipping
We use UPS/e database and calculates UPS shipping cost. The configuration form for this module has default settings loaded into it for quick set up and requires no third party set up with any systems at UPS. Our Shopping Cart will take information on the items in your shoppers' baskets, and based on weight and services selected, will calculate shipping charges to be added to your customers orders.
